Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares has asserted that the Ram 1500 REV, which stands for Revolution Battery-electric Vehicle, is set to outperform all competitors in the electric truck market. As it stands, the Ford F-150 Lightning and Chevrolet Silverado EV are the primary contenders in the full-size electric truck arena, while smaller entries like the Rivian R1T add further complexity to the competition. Despite their smaller size, such trucks often garner attention for their unique features and capabilities.
With its new STLA Frame platform introduced in November, Stellantis aims to embed more robust features into their vehicles, including the Ram and Jeep electric models. Moreover, Stellantis has several additional electric ventures in progress.
